Book Groups
We have a number of active book groups here at United Christian Church. All of the groups meet on Zoom and are open to new joiners.
it is certainly okay to attend here and there, as your schedule allows. If you would like to join on Zoom or have questions,
please email Church Administrator Kelley DeCleene. Any interested readers are encouraged to join for
"fellowship, friendship, and faith formation as we flip through pages of fact & fiction!"

Spirit of Love Conversations Book Group
Faith-based book club meets on Zoom each Tuesday at 1:00pm. The Spirit of Love Conversations Book Group is currently discussing "Life Worth Living: A Guide to What Matters Most", by Miroslav Volf, Matthew Croasmun, and Ryan McAnnally-Linz. In addition to the book, readers may also decide to listen to Kate Bowler's podcast with one of the authors: https://katebowler.com/podcasts/miroslav_volf/. The group goes chapter-by-chapter each Tuesday on Zoom at 1pm. Each week is self-contained so it's certainly okay if you can't make it for each meeting or would like to jump in here or there. Anyone in the group has the opportunity to take a turn leading the weekly discussion, but this is not a requirement for participation. All interested readers are welcome to join, so please contact the church office if you need more information. |
