Youth Group Activities

Sunday, 9/30:
Join us at 1pm this Sunday for youth group - Savers Work Day

Youth group will now be from 1pm-230pm. Here are some important details:

I will be in the building as soon as the 11am worship is over. If youth want to bring a lunch or grab lunch and then come back and hang out and play games or just visit, I will be here. Programming won't start until 1pm, but there will be an adult in the building.
We will no longer be asking parents to provide a meal. I will use some of our budgeted youth group events $ to buy heavy snacks that will be available to youth during youth group. If you would like to donate some snacks, you are welcome to do so.
The earlier time means more availability to go off campus for mission or fun activities. This also means release forms are critical. If you've filled these out before, don't worry....I'll ask you to do it again, ever year that your child is in youth group ;) Release forms will be available on the youth bulletin board in the fellowship hall. Once completed, please place in my box near the copier in the office area.
Generally if we have a lock in, retreat, mission opportunity, or fundraiser that falls on a Friday or Saturday, youth group on Sunday gets canceled. Please watch the upcoming events section of the weekly email to know when something is canceled.

Important Fall Dates:

September 9th - Regular Youth Group back in swing, parent meeting at the same time
September 14th - Youth Group Outing to watch Princess Bride at Community First Village
October 12th - Pumpkins are arriving! Help unload pumpkins at 4pm.
October 27th - Youth Group will be staffing the pumpkin patch all day
November 4th - Mocktoberfest after Congregational Meeting
November 6th - Election Day Bake Sale
November 11th - Middle School Only Youth Group
November 16th-18th - Camping at McKinney Falls
December 2nd - High School Only Youth Group
December 16th - Caroling and Poinsettia Delivery
