We practice yoga techniques, including the alignment and form of postures, breath awareness, and meditation techniques within a spiritual context. Hatha Yoga is a therapeutic form of yoga excellent for increasing flexibility, developing strength, improving body awareness, building concentration, and calming the mind.
FAQs * This class is geared towards beginning to intermediate students. * Students should first discuss with their doctor whether yoga is right for them. * Students should be able to get up and down off the floor easily. * A $10 donation for each class is anonymous and optional, and any proceeds will go the church. * All classes are open to the public, so please, bring your friends! * Please bring a yoga mat.
