Worship at United Christian Church of Austin
Worship is not the point of faith; love is. Worship is more like a way-station on the journey. It's the place we check in after a long week and before another; listen again for God's guiding voice in scripture, in our tradition, and in our lives and the lives of our neighbors; and refocus our attention on God's purposes of justice, peace, and compassion.
9-9:50am "Quiet Start" Worship
Shorter, informal worship with communion by intinction ("dipping"), common prayers, and sermon. Children's "Worship & Wonder" experience available during worship. Nursery care provided.
11am-12:15pm "Full House" Worship
Worship with communion (usually passed in the pews), common prayers, and sermon. Choir and other special music. Children's Time in worship, followed by children's "Worship and Wonder" experience. (Children may return for communion with their families.) Nursery care provided.
