| Music
The goal of Sunday worship music is to provide inspiration. On a Sunday morning, you might hear classical, traditional, spiritual, and modern music. Once a month, usually the last Sunday, the music is played by a jazz ensemble led by Dr. Winton Reynolds.
Children's Choirs
Any child who enjoys singing and loves to have fun is welcome to join! We have three choirs for our children:
Cherub Choir, directed by Amy Tutt, is open to all children from age 3 through preschool.
Melody Makers, directed by Melissa Selden, is open to all children who are in kindergarten, first and second grades.
Holy Notes, directed by Emily Jamison Guerrero and Mike Crane, is open to all children who are in third, fourth, and fifth grades.
All three choirs rehearse on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. between September to May. The choirs sing in the worship service four to five times a year. For more information, please call 218-8110.
Chancel Choir
Everyone has a place in our adult choir! If you love to sing, then please consider yourself warmly invited to become a member of our Chancel Choir. The choir sings Sunday mornings from mid-August through May, at the annual UCC Christmas Concert, and the annual Northeast Caregivers Concert. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. Child care is provided.
Our Music Director, Lauren Zachry-Reynolds, would love to add you to the choir. Call 218-8110 or lauren@uccaustin.org for more information.
