When the weather gets cooler, we will resume our prayer and meditation time at 9:30 am on Sundays at the outdoor worship area. You are welcome to join a group meditation or just walk the labyrinth in a private time with God.
We have two goals during this time. As individuals we desire to practice being present with Spirit. As a group it is to strengthen our various communities as we prayer together for our church family, neighborhood, city, state, country and global community.
Meditations that we use will be attached to this article and available on the bulletin board and outside worship area. If you have a meditation that you would like to share with others, please feel free to add these to the bulletin board and outside worship area packet.

Labyrinth work continues. We have a complete (but very rustic) 7 circuit labyrinth near the outside worship area. This will be an ongoing effort to improve it in order that all our UCC members can avail themselves of this Sacred Space. Currently only those that have very good hiking boots should try to walk the entire course. We've asked Clark Thompson to lead in the next stage of development so that everyone can eventually enjoy it.
When you visit the labyrinth, you'll see that we've laid down some donated mulch/shavings at the beginning of the circuit. If you have any spare mulch or wood working shavings, you are welcome to bring them to the labyrinth. You can spread them on the path yourself or just leave it and someone else will spread the mulch when they visit. Also, feel free to start lining the circuits with rocks -- those that you find on our property or perhaps some you have from your yard. It will be exciting to see the progress of this very special prayer and meditation area. It is good that we are using and honoring the beautiful land that we have. It is your labyrinth. Be creative as you work and walk it. For now, don't worry if rocks and mulch aren't uniform, our labyrinth will be a wonderful reflection of the diversity of our UCC community.
