ADULT FAITH FORMATION
We believe that being a Christian is a lifelong process of becoming a Christian, so we offer opportunities on Sundays and during the week to continue our formation as disciples following in the way of Jesus.
Tuesday Noontime Study Group
Tuesdays, Noon-1pm, (Fellowship Hall)
This weekly study group is open to everyone. You don't need to have ever come before--or ever come again! But do grab lunch and join us for fellowship and thoughtful, prayerful study of scripture and matters of faith.
STARTING OCTOBER 17
Sunday Adult Faith Formation @ 10am
Track 1: Lectionary Bible Study
The three-year cycle of Bible readings offered by the Revised Common Lectionary guide our worship and preaching Sunday by Sunday. In this group we seek to engage with this week's passages, looking for a Spiritual connection, asking, "How may our experience of these words bring us closer to the living Word of God today?"
Track 2: Rotating Class
"An African-American folk expression claims that God can ‘make a way out of no way.” This 6-week series explores familiar Hebrew stories of despair and deliverance. Noah, Abraham, Joseph, and Moses each persevere with God’s help amidst almost unimaginable obstacles. For the times in your life when there seems to be no way out, and for those times when God shines through after all."
